Stories of Islands
Installation | Stories of Islands | Chester Zoo
Stories of Islands is a 4 screen installation for Chester Zoo. Combining 2D & 3D animation the film presents a tactile take on the evolutionary shifts of the natural world. Covering biodiversity, endemism and the geological shifts that have occurred over millennia, it brings attention to the work of explorer and biologist Alfred Russell Wallace and his findings that resulted in a greater understanding of how species have adapted and evolved. The film also invites you to consider the life style choices which help to restore and support the wildlife.
